Mary Mercy Salmans passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2012. Mary was born on May 20, 1930, in San Antonio, Texas. In 1957, Mary and husband Byron, moved their growing family to Long Beach, California, then settled into their new home in Placentia, California in 1963.

Mary, now a single mother of three, soon owned and operated facilities in Placentia, Fullerton, Anaheim, and Buena Park. Mary moved to the Coachella Valley in the mid 70’s and over time she owned and operated up to five board and care facilities in the Coachella Valley, known as “Mary Mercy Rest Homes”. Mary was a successful business woman in many ventures. Her family is so proud of her, for all the people she helped and the lives she touched in such a positive and caring way.

Mary is survived by her three children; Bryan Salmans, Rayna Seipel, and Ryan Salmans, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held on January 28, 2012. Memorial Services to celebrate the life of Mary Mercy will be on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at 11:00 am. Location: 845 West Chino Canyon Rd, Palm Springs, Ca. 92262.
