Joanne Engle Wilson, 77, of Long Beach, California, passed away peacefully on January 1st.
Joanne was born in San Pedro California in 1934. Joanne was a woman of passion both professionally and personally, whether fighting for woman’s rights in the 1970s, developing quality health education programs during her 40 year career as a professional dental hygienist, or pursuing understanding in her study of spiritual texts. Joanne most recently enjoyed spending time with her daughter’s family and her kitty cat, with whom she lived, in Long Beach, Ca. Joanne is survived by her only child, daughter, Valerie Wilson-Lindberg (husband Greg), granddaughter, Kayleen Lindberg, older brother Kenneth Engle, younger brother John Harmon and many other family members who loved her dearly.
